Meet & Greet Chief Diane Thomas

The entire community is invited to a Meet & Greet with City of Talladega Police Chief Diane Thomas on Sunday, May 1, 2022, 3 p.m., at Mt. Canaan Regional Life Center, which is located at 423 Battle Street W.

Chief Thomas comes to Talladega from the Prattville Police Department, where she served as assistant chief of police from 2015 - 2022. She has over 30 years of experience in law enforcement, and also serves as an adjunct Professor at Faulkner University, where she instructs criminal justice students.

Thomas holds a bachelor of science in criminal justice and a master of justice administration from Faulkner University. She completed Leadership Autauga, FBINA, IACP Women’s Leadership Institute and other leadership programs. She has served on various boards, including Autauga County Department of Human Resources. 

She is a past recipient of the Dr. Dorothy Height Leadership Award, the Woman of Character Luminary Award and the Crime Stopper Law Enforcement Officer of the Year award.
